At Tier 1 Care, we believe your home should reflect your choices. Our Individualised Living Options (ILO) support is a personalised NDIS-funded package that gives you the freedom to decide where you live, who you live with, and how you're supported.
Whether you want to live alone, with a friend, or alongside a trusted support person, ILO allows you to build a living arrangement that suits your lifestyle—without being restricted to traditional shared accommodation or group homes. While ILO doesn’t cover the cost of your housing, it does fund the supports you need to live well and independently in the setting of your choice.
How Tier 1 Care Supports Your ILO Journey
ILO is delivered in two key stages, and we’re with you every step of the way:
Stage 1: Exploration and Design
Our team will work closely with you, your loved ones, and your support network to understand your ideal living arrangement. Together, we’ll develop a personalised plan that includes both formal and informal supports—everything from daily care to help from friends or mentors.
You’ll be supported by your own dedicated ILO Coordinator, who will take the time to truly understand your preferences and goals. This process typically takes a few months, because getting it right matters.
Stage 2: Implementation and Ongoing Support
Once your plan is in place, we help you bring it to life. That means supporting your move, helping you settle into your new home, and making sure everything works as it should. We’ll continue to check in regularly and adjust your supports if your needs change. Your comfort, independence, and wellbeing are always our priority.
Living Your Way: Your Choices Matter
With ILO, you decide who you live with. Some of the flexible options include:
Living with Housemates – Share your space with people you trust, who may also assist with daily tasks and companionship.
Support from Mentors – Live in your own home and choose a small team of paid mentors to support you on your terms.
Living Independently – Prefer to live solo? We’ll support you with flexible, drop-in care and help from family and friends.
